First and foremost, I run my own creative studio called CLAUS and I work in commercial and entertainment design, doing everything from movie logos to show packages to concept and style frame execution to title sequence design.

I went to Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL to pursue my dream of drawing for a living and entertaining while doing so. I majored in Illustration and developed an interest in graphic design as well, finding ways to combine the two became a new fascination. After Ringling, I worked for 7 years in my home state of Texas at a commercial/entertainment studio as an illustrator/designer/Art Director before setting off on my own in 2011, heading west to LA to open CLAUS, my very own freelance business. CLAUS recently celebrated its 10 year anniversary and is rocking stronger than ever, so reach out and let’s make something awesome together!

I opened CLAUS U because after teaching at OTIS COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN for 6 years I realized that I wanted to reach MORE students. I love connecting and helping eager minds find their calling and I thought by making a homebase online for my tutorials and classes, I’d be able to reach the masses!
